For me, the trick is to make sure nobody else in the house is aware that I have pens 😂 If I tell a soul, then all of my pens end up in the Twilight Zone loll!
My mom has recently been getting the pentel energel rtx liquid gel pens but I'm having a hard time adjusting to them haha I've loved the Piolet G2 pens (gold) for years but lately they seem to be drying up wayyy too quickly. So I think I'm going to have to conform lol!

I’m a Pilot G-2 girl--a #7 for most writing, but #10 for signing things. I’m left handed, so all pens are a little tricky, but I’ve managed to master using these!
I usually use a sharpie for signing things, but I’ve learned since publishing my first novel that sharpies are great for picture book pages, but the EnerGel is better for novel pages!
I buy a bunch of colors: black, blue, blue-black, green, brown. When one runs out, I grab whatever the next one is, and it's a fun roulette to see what I get.

Carrie likes a fine Sharpie, but I realized it bled through--and so the move to G-2 10s!
I appear to collect dead unworking pens, that are the only ones I can find when I really need a working pen.
Haha! This is why refillable pens are a good investment!

Yes! I also love pens. I like ink that glides and my overall affordable favorite is the Pentel Finito! x-tra fine porous point pen with black ink.
