I checked Mary Oliver's book Devotions out of the library myself. I send poems from it, and other books, out to about 25 women every morning as a "poem of the day " along with a gratitude list. Some people send their own gratitude lists back to me. 🙂

Great poems!! I think Brain Drain would be relatable to kids! Great way to express your emotions.

The first one is my favorite. I love the resistance. Also, I’m reminded that I told myself I am going to sit down and write every evening this week. Time to get to it! 😊

You won’t be sorry! There’s a whole series of poetry books by this creative duo. There’s A Kick in the Head, which is about different poetic forms. There’s also one about concrete poems and one more that I can’t remember right now. The only one I own is A Kick in the Head, so I need to add the rest of them to my collection!

Sounds great! And what a lovely thing to do as a collaboration.

This is great, Rebecca! I’ve been struggling to sit down and write creatively, mostly because of all the other things that seem to be yammering about their importance. I should write about *that*!
